Brinkitron — User Manual


The Briefing

You are Brinkitron. Your mission: Find the end of the Loop! By each revolution you navigate around the Loop, the world changes along with new paths and obstacles. You will face an increasing number of enemies and seemingly insurmountable terrain by every step you venture deeper. Seek for weapons, keys and ability upgrades to surpass every last obstacle in your way to the Victory screen.

Powerups

Spider climb
Walk along ceilings with this ability.
Coyote walk
Enjoy unlimited coyote frames by walking off a ledge onto thin air.
Flappy bird Sky is the limit.
Gun upgrades
Upgrading your gun lets you break certain boulders.
 Keys Obtain keys to make barriers disappear. Note that the barrier corresponding to the fourth and final key displays as solid black due to an off-by-one error.

Enemies

Ping-Pong Ping-Pongs like to bounce off walls, floors and ceilings. In fact, it's about everything it does. Watch out for a Ping-Pong wrapping around the screen to get you! Otherwise they are quite easy targets who go down quickly.
Bouncer Bouncer just wants to hop around. But it's evil nonetheless so don't feel bad killing one on sight. They won't die on the first hit — they turn around instead.
Bomb Spitter Bomb Spitters zig-zag leisurely about and spit falling bombs at a constant pace. There's good and bad news if your enemy is a Bomb Spitter — The good: its bombs do not wrap around the screen. The bad: it takes many hits to kill.
